Band of Coders is a dynamic software development firm building innovative digital solutions. We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to developing our client's healthcare-related system.
About the Role :
As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a robust and scalable healthcare system with our client. You will work with modern JavaScript technologies and cloud infrastructure to ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards such as HIPAA. Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards like HL7 / FHIR is a plus.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain EHR solutions using Medplum, ensuring security and compliance.
- Build front-end applications using React and React Native .
- Implement back-end services with Node.js and AWS.
- Improve, extend, and configure AWS backend infrastructure. -Integrate healthcare standards such as HL7 / FHIR and SMART App Launch Framework.
- Develop and maintain secure messaging capabilities using Twilio (SMS).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality healthcare software solutions.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and data security best practices in all development efforts.
- Work with the business team to define features and upcoming changes.
- Propose innovative solutions and present them to leadership.
Requirements :
Proficiency in JavaScript full-stack development (React, React Native , Node.js).Experience working with AWS for cloud-based applications.Experience integrating Twilio for SMS functionality.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.Preferred Qualifications :
Solid understanding of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and healthcare compliance standards.Experience in healthcare tech or prior work with EHR systems.Familiarity with HL7 / FHIR and SMART App Launch Framework is a plus .Understanding of HIPAA regulations and secure data handling.Previous experience working with open-source EHR solutions such as Medplum or willingness to learn and implement it effectively
