Overview

As an Engineer, VAS Business Intelligence (BI) you will be operating database cluster and designing various analytical reports at one of AppLogic Networks’s key accounts. As a BI Engineer, you will be working with different business teams within customers’ organizations, collecting their requests, and create new / update existing BI reports to accommodate business needs. You will also be responsible in monitoring and maintaining database cluster health in optimal condition. Issues that are outside of your knowledge domain will be escalated to AppLogic Networks’s customer support for further investigation while you play a key role in communicating status updates to the customer and scheduling further investigation activities as require until resolution.

Responsibilities

• Work with Customer Network / Business teams , collect analytical requirements and create / update BI reports
• Develop new reports proactively based on the best practices from other AppLogic Networks deployments
• Present the report to end customer
• General services as required including installation of software maintenance updates for database servers and solutions
• Work within customers change management and maintenance window guidelin
• Collaborate with AppLogic Networks team to follow best practices in report development
• Accountability for Case management and ensuring that they are resolved
• Providing consultative support and mentor other less experienced team members
• Positive contribution towards quality reviews for other colleagues and peers
