Location : Remote
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and analyze data from diverse IoT sources.
- Conduct data exploration and analysis to uncover patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Design and implement cost-efficient data solutions using modern cloud platforms and services.
- Document data models, workflows, and system architecture for cross-functional transparency.
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and domain experts to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Apply software engineering best practices including unit testing, CI / CD, and clean code principles (SOLID, KISS).
Must-Have Qualifications :
Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.Strong experience with data analysis tools such as Pandas, SQL, and Jupyter.Proven ability to build and optimize data workflows for large-scale, heterogeneous data environments.Experience with cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Familiarity with IoT protocols such as MQTT, BACnet, Modbus , and edge computing concepts.Understanding of software development best practices and agile methodologies.Nice-to-Have Skills :
Experience with smart building technologies or builder tools.Exposure to Client platforms such as Niagara Framework, Tridium, Trend Controls, Johnson Controls Metasys, Siemens TALON , etc.Knowledge of facility automation, energy management, or smart infrastructure systems.Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience working in smart buildings , IoT ecosystems , or facility automation domains.
