Senior Full Stack Software Developer

Position Overview

A fast-growing, product-driven technology company in the logistics and transportation space is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with strong experience in Python, React, and Java to join its Engineering team.

In this role, you will help build, enhance, and maintain mission-critical products used daily by customers across the United States. You’ll work primarily with Python and React, with Java as a secondary focus, collaborating closely with a cross-functional team to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions that support a complex, real-world industry.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional partners (product management, engineering, QA, design, and support) to deliver solutions aligned with team and business metrics

Design, develop, document, refactor, deploy, and operate APIs, customer-facing features, and internal tools

Build and maintain backend systems using Python and Java

Deliver and enhance user-facing functionality using React and TypeScript

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices

Partner with QA and Support to troubleshoot issues, resolve bugs, and identify performance bottlenecks

Improve existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability

Participate in technical design discussions, often with guidance from senior engineers

Ensure system and data security through best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption)

Participate in code reviews, sharing knowledge and providing constructive feedback

Stay current with industry trends and best practices across Python, Java, and full-stack development

Required Experience

5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer

3+ years working in a product-driven environment

Advanced English communication skills

Strong experience with Python web frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI), with openness to working across multiple frameworks

Proven experience building and shipping user interfaces with React and TypeScript

Proficiency with Spring Boot 2

Experience debugging and supporting systems in production

Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures

Experience with relational databases

Knowledge of system architecture and system design

Experience mentoring or coaching junior engineers

Ability to lead technically complex initiatives or projects

Demonstrated adaptability to new frameworks, tools, and concepts

Commitment to high-quality code and engineering standards

Ability to collaborate effectively with teams operating in U.S. time zones

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP

Experience with Kubernetes

Background designing, building, and operating distributed systems (e.g., microservices) in production

Experience working with CI / CD pipelines
