The client facilitates domestic and cross-border transactions, connecting to +70 local payment channels, all powered by a network of currency exchange agents. Our marketplace solution is addressing the incompatibility and fragmentation of the region's financial ecosystem for individuals and SMBs.

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-End Developer with 4-6 years of experience in a senior role to join our dynamic and fast-paced startup. The ideal candidate is an expert in TypeScript, Docker, and AWS , with a strong ability to build scalable, high-performance back-end solutions. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing our core systems, ensuring efficiency and reliability in a highly competitive environment

Preferred Skills and Requirements

4-6 years of experience as a Senior Back-End Developer .

Expert in TypeScript with deep knowledge of back-end frameworks.

Proficiency in Docker for containerization and orchestration.

Strong experience in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, ECS, API Gateway, etc.).

Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.

Strong database experience.

Experience with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

Familiarity with security best practices for cloud-native applications.

Agile mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment .

Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality software .

Fluent in English and Spanish (a plus)

Key Functions and Tasks

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance back-end services.

Implement and optimize APIs and microservices using TypeScript and modern frameworks.

Leverage Docker to containerize applications for seamless deployment and scalability.

Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS , ensuring high availability and performance.

Collaborate closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams to drive innovation.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize for speed and efficiency.

Ensure application security and compliance with industry standards.

Adapt quickly to new challenges, priorities, and a fast-paced work environment.
