Private Equity Associate

A private equity firm, is seeking to hire a Private Equity Associate to join the team. The firm manages a rapidly expanding portfolio of internet-based companies. The firm looks to acquire proven businesses that have strong metrics and potential, supported by significant growth. By introducing our infrastructure, and leveraging our expertise to quickly accelerate growth we’re able to provide solid returns to our investors. This individual will actively engage in all aspects of research, acquisitions, and portfolio management under general supervision from the leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new investment opportunities for their risks and possible returns driven by detailed financial analysis.
• Actively participate in and drive the due diligence process when evaluating new investments.
• Prepare investment committee materials for the presentation of various investment opportunities.
• Perform business, financial, and operational analysis across portfolio companies to help influence senior management decision-making.
• Assist with ad-hoc special projects and support the development of long-term strategic initiatives across portfolio companies alongside executive leadership.

Working Hours : Monday - Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST

Salary Range : $1500 - $3000 USD (Bonus and eventual participation in deals)

Payment Frequency : Monthly

Type of Contract : Independent Contractor
