DevOps Engineer

Description

BETSOL, a US-based company, is looking for a DevOps Support Engineer in Argentina for a multi-year engagement. This is a hands-on position requiring a good technical foundation, ability to learn quickly, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

This job will be performed remotely. Payments will be made in US dollars.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Work together with development team to advise / design / define better scalability, reliability, and CI / CD mechanism.

Work towards development of new features and enhancements.

Deploy new software to clusters in GKE.

Perform basic sanity testing on infrastructure upgrades

DevOps Support and monitoring for the Application

Screen the issues and open ticket to developers in case there are bugs

Enter bugs to Engineering on any infrastructure issues.

Keep status and change logs for any work.

Primary Skills required :

Understanding of any of the Cloud. Work experience in Google Cloud Console would be preferred.

Working Knowledge of NodeJs. Working knowledge in node.js to work on the new features and enhancements.

Stack driver or any Monitoring Tool Experience Monitoring and Logging service from Google.

Kubernetes / GKE Understand how containers are built, maintained and deployed under Kubernetes.

Secondary Skills required :

Mongo DB cluster creation

Redis Atlas

SendGrid

CloudConvert

Soft skills required :

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Able to preempt, identify and resolve problems that are non-routine or lacking in definition

Ability to define, implement and work to a schedule.

Good time management skills.

Attention to detail. Able to work with little or no supervision.

Ability to work with team members across the globe

Experience range :

3-6 years of overall experience

2+ years of relevant experience in DevOps Development

Educational Qualifications :

B.E. / ME (CS / EE) / MCA or equivalent higher-level degree

Certifications :

GCP, Kubernetes certifications preferred
