Video Editor (Marketing Industry)

Job Title: Video Editor
Location: Remote - LATAM
Salary: $7 - $12 per hour | $1,120 - $1,900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Schedule: Mountain Standard Timezone

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with strong experience in digital marketing. The ideal candidate can transform raw footage into compelling videos that drive engagement, conversions, and brand visibility. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to deliver high-quality content for ads, social media, websites, and campaign assets.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality video content for paid ads, social media, and marketing campaigns.
• Create short-form and long-form videos optimized for Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Podcast, and other platforms.
• Add motion graphics, captions, transitions, and other visual enhancements.
• Edit and optimize podcast audio/video content (preferred).
• Manage and execute approximately 10–15 video editing requests per week for client projects, in addition to handling a similar volume of internal video content.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and strategy.
• Repurpose existing assets into multiple formats for various channels.
• Organize media files, maintain project version control, and ensure timely delivery.
• Stay updated on digital marketing trends, platform best practices, and emerging content styles.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Video Editor, ideally within digital marketing or advertising.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, ad formats, and performance-driven creatives.
• Motion graphics experience using After Effects (a strong plus).
• Experience editing podcasts (audio/video) is a plus.
• Portfolio demonstrating high-quality marketing or social media video work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
