Role Overview
As the Copy Editor (70%) / Writer (30%), you will elevate the quality and clarity of SEO-driven content across multiple B2B and tech brands. You will review, edit, and refine drafts generated by writers and AI tools, ensuring accuracy, tone consistency, and strong alignment with SEO strategy. Additionally, you will craft original content including SEO articles, landing pages, lead magnets, and product explainers.
This role is ideal for someone who is equal parts meticulous editor and skilled writer — someone who thrives in refining voice, enforcing consistency, and producing genuinely informative content that stands out online.

Your work will uphold and elevate the editorial standard across all published materials, ensuring content is accurate, structured, SEO-aligned, and compelling. By implementing quality control processes, refining voice guidelines, and delivering clean copy, you will help clients scale high-quality content systems that drive organic traffic and strong user engagement.Your efforts will directly improve content performance, reduce revision cycles, and strengthen brand consistency across all content outputs.Core Responsibilities
1. Writing & Editing (Primary — 70% Editing, 30% Writing)
Edit drafts from writers and AI tools for tone, clarity, accuracy, structure, and consistency.Write original SEO articles, landing pages, product explainers, and lead magnets.Maintain, enforce, and evolve brand voice guidelines across multiple clients.Ensure content meets high editorial standards and is informative, engaging, and aligned with SEO best practices.2. SEO Alignment & Quality Control
Align writing with keyword strategy, SERP intent, topical depth, and internal linking plans.Apply SEO best practices consistently across all content.Use AI tools responsibly, understanding when automation is useful and when editorial judgment must prevail.3. Content Operations & Workflow
Keep production pipelines organized across multiple content calendars.Support research, briefing, editing, and final publishing for various content types.Maintain reliability and consistency within editorial and SEO systems.Requirements
Must-Haves (Required)
4+ years of writing or editing experience, ideally for B2B, SaaS, marketing, or tech audiences.Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (intent, structure, optimization).Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, SurferSEO, or similar).Exceptional grammar and detail orientation; strong editorial judgment.Ability to refine tone and adapt to multiple brand voices.Experience giving constructive feedback to writers.Highly organized, process-driven, and comfortable working within templates and systems.Curiosity and good judgment regarding the role of AI in content production.Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)
Experience in content operations or content management systems.Familiarity with B2B product positioning or UX writing.Background working directly with SEO strategists or content agencies.Tools Proficiency
