Personal Assistant to Chief Executive Officer

Since 2006, One Foot Abroad has created and sold walking holidays around. We have developed our flagship brand Follow the Camino and requires great individuals who can assist the CEO based in Ireland to develop our business further. We are looking for a multi-lingual adventurous personable individual with character, skills and stamina wanting to join an innovative Online Travel Agency and take part in its next growth cycle.
The Role
This role, although primarily providing PA duties for the CEO will also involve some general office administration duties and assistance to other members of the team.
This is a remote contractor role. Candidate will invoice the company monthly and pay tax locally.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide organisational management and secretarial services to effectively support the CEO and to facilitate the efficient running of the function
- Communicate and liaise with the key internal and external business contacts effectively, representing the company's interests, in order to optimise the function's efficiency and performance.
The scope of the work is varied
HR (50%)
Be the main contact for day-to-day HR activities (HR questions and requests, calendar updates, policy communication)Draft contract (Spanish, English, for employees and contractors)Set up and maintain the HR systemAssist during recruitment (source, screening calls, and reference checks)Assist during the Onboarding process (setting up new team members on the various tools and platforms)Staff expenses and allowances managementSome general office management duties (organizing meetings, social and end-of-the-year activities, controlling the Organizational calendar of the Company)PA to CEO (20%)
Calendar managementReporting or analysis, data cleaning supportHelp prepare regular reportsAny other project making use of phone, email, and online platformsFilter and sort some incoming communication / requestsTravel organisationSustainability (20%)
