About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Recruitment Specialist to support our expanding team at GigaBrands. In this role, you will work closely with company directors and managers, taking ownership of recruitment, onboarding, and employee data management. You will touch all areas of HR (excluding payroll and legal) while reporting to a manager for guidance.
This is a hands-on, autonomous position where you will be expected to work independently, maintain high accuracy, and ensure tasks are completed with urgency and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with directors and managers to understand hiring needs and design effective recruitment strategies
- Source, screen, and recruit candidates that best fit open roles
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for multiple roles across different functions
- Support and coordinate the onboarding process for new hires
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR data, including new hire documentation
- Contribute to HR operations across multiple areas (excluding payroll and legal)
- Provide regular updates and reports to the HR Manager for guidance and alignment
- Ensure HR processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with company culture and values
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR generalist rolesProven ability to source, assess, and hire candidates across multiple functionsStrong organizational skills and excellent attention to detailAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple prioritiesStrong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and managersProactive, “get-things-done” mindset with a sense of urgencyComfortable with HR systems, ATS platforms, and employee documentation processesBenefits
