Descripción del trabajoWork on challenging AI / ML projects like NLP, computer vision, recommender systems, advanced statistical prediction models, and other AI technologies to drive revenue and enhance the personalized shopping experiences of our 50M members Develop innovative solutions to business problems leveraging both classic and cutting-edge AI / ML algorithms / frameworks Build end-to-end large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines and scalable architectures and services to efficiently handle large amounts of data Work with a state-of-the-art data technology stack (Spark, Tensorflow, Pytorch, Snowflake, Airflow, AWS Ecosystem) that operates in the cloud to empower predictive modeling services for both internal and external customers Productionize scalable and distributed data science solutions in cloud-based ecosystems and be responsible for day-to-day production support You will be involved in the design and implementation of applications and tools based on AI (including GenAI) that will revolutionize the way that our software interacts with users while maintaining a responsible approach to the use of these technologies Identify opportunities for data science to increase the organization’s efficiency and lift our core business Gain exposure to a wide range of business stakeholders and departments ranging from Marketing, Merchandising, and Planning to Executive Leadership Work in multi-functional agile teams to continuously experiment, iterate, and deliver on data-driven product objectives Work closely with fellow engineers from other teams to design and develop cross-team data exchange microservices, effectively communicating your needs and understanding theirs Recommendation Systems : Develop and implement recommendation systems using collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, and hybrid approaches to suggest products based on user behavior and preferences. Personalization : Design personalized marketing campaigns, dynamic pricing strategies, and customized shopping experiences to enhance user engagement and satisfaction. Retail Machine Learning Applications : Utilize ML techniques for demand forecasting, customer segmentation, and churn prediction to optimize inventory management and retention strategies. In-Store Experience Enhancements : Improve in-store experiences with automated checkout systems and AI-powered virtual assistants. Visual Search : Enable users to search for products using images, leveraging computer vision to identify and match similar items. Sentiment Analysis : Analyze customer reviews and feedback using natural language processing to gauge sentiment and improve product offerings. Search Optimization : Enhance search functionality on e-commerce platforms to provide more relevant and accurate search results. Inventory Management : Optimize stock levels and supply chain efficiency through predictive analytics. Customer Service Automation : Implement AI-driven chatbots and virtual assistants for customer inquiries and support. Product Categorization : Automate product classification and tagging to organize large product catalogs. Dynamic Ad Targeting : Create personalized advertising strategies based on customer data and behavior. Visual Merchandising : Personalize product arrangement and display on e-commerce platforms to maximize engagement and conversion rates. Customer Lifetime Value Prediction : Predict long-term customer value to inform marketing strategies and customer relationship management. Abandoned Cart Recovery : Analyze reasons for cart abandonment and develop strategies to recover sales. Product Trend Analysis : Identify emerging trends in purchasing behavior through data analysis. Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field 4+ Years of relevant experience in AI / ML Experience working in an agile environment producing deliverables in a quick and iterative manner Expertise in machine learning, feature engineering, and software development Experience with statistical modeling and large-scale data analytics Experience writing clean and efficient code in Python, SQL Knowledge of Spark or similar big data platforms and technology is preferred Experience working with structured, unstructured data and table design Deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms Experience with Deep Learning frameworks (Tensorflow, Keras and / or Pytorch) Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Apache Airflow) Experience building scalable microservices for delivery of high-volume data on AWS or other cloud platforms Experience with production grade LLMs and generative AI Fluency in English Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work well in a close-knit team, ego-less coding habits, and a collaborative spirit Result-driven execution of AI / ML solutions to drive the business forward

The Data Science and AI Team gives you the freedom to use the latest cutting-edge techniques and technologies in their experimentation to move the data science and personalization efforts forward with the goal of increasing the magic of the 50M members' online shopping experience and the annual revenues. The team is responsible for both creating data science solutions and productionizing the solutions in a scalable cloud environment, which removes the barrier between the science and engineering that we typically see in the industry.
You will join the industry-leading Data Science Team in Dublin, IRE. In this role, you will work with our seasoned data scientists and engineers to build innovative AI solutions that power our profitable, off-price, luxury e-commerce business.
