Position Overview

We are looking for a SAP FICO Consultant (AP Focus) with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the Accounts Payable module. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial accounting principles and solid expertise in SAP FI-AP processes, including invoice processing, vendor management, payment runs, and usage of the DMEE tool. This role requires strong collaboration skills to translate business needs into SAP solutions, as well as the ability to support full-cycle implementations and ongoing improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and implement SAP FI-AP solutions that support financial operations and compliance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Execute configurations and support AP processes such as vendor master data, invoice processing, and payment runs.
  • Utilize key SAP transaction codes such as FB60, F-53, F110, FK01 / FK02, XK01 / XK02.
  • Manage the formatting and generation of payment media using DMEE .
  • Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in vendor invoicing and payment workflows.
  • Document and update business processes and configuration settings.
  • Provide training and functional support to end users.
  • Stay updated with SAP innovations, especially within S / 4HANA environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience as a SAP FI Consultant, with strong focus in Accounts Payable .
  • In-depth understanding of SAP FI-AP, including configuration and end-user processes.
  • Hands-on experience with DMEE for payment media generation.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles related to payables.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with internal teams and vendors.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new functionalities and process changes.
  • Experience in S / 4HANA projects is a plus.
  • SAP FI certification is desirable.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
