Our customer is among the top-5 health insurance companies in the US. The company serves more than 15 million members across five states and employs more than 20,000 people.

The customer is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, cost-effective health care and equipping their members with information and tools so they can make the best health care decisions for themselves and their families. We are helping to achieve our customer’s goals via developing and supporting the IT tools, including numerous applications and APIs for both internal and external use.

Teams use agile methodologies like Scrum, with the majority following TDD and pair programming. The typical team consists of 6-8 developers and a product manager who is responsible for user stories and communication.

Technologies : Java, Selenium.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Overall experience in automation : 5+ years
  • Knowledge of fundamentals of QA methodology
  • Web Testing, API Testing, Database Testing
  • Java, TestNG (JUnit), Selenium, Appium
  • Logging and Reporting, Git, Working with IDE
  • Knowledge of tools like Postman
  • Familiarity with CI / CD tools
  • Solid skills in framework design
  • Knowledge and understanding of automation patterns like Page Object, Page Factory, and related
  • Proficient in using various tools, such as Maven, Gradle
  • Previous experience with Test frameworks – JUnit, TestNG
  • Previous experience with VSC – Git and flows
  • At least an upper-intermediate level of English

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop website maps, application models, image templates, or page templates that meet project goals, user needs, or industry standards
  • Develop and document style guidelines for website content
  • Identify or maintain links to and from other websites and check links to ensure proper functioning
  • Establish appropriate server directory trees
  • Recommend and implement performance improvements
  • Implement code refactoring and optimization methods, documenting results in the collective knowledge base as best practices
  • Work in pairs with other developers, communicate with team members, and share thoughts and knowledge
  • Design new functionality and estimate tasks
