Senior Software Engineer – Automation – Híbrido (Buenos Aires, Argentina)

Working Model : Hybrid (primarily remote, with occasional onsite presence in CABA – up to once per week)

Availability : Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9–18 hs, 40 hs per week)

Essential Responsibilities

Software Development Excellence

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications across frontend and backend environments.
Build Progressive Web Applications (PWA) using modern frameworks and tools.
Develop RESTful services with Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Automation and Quality Assurance

Create and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated test scripts to ensure robust software delivery.

Support CI / CD pipelines and contribute to process improvements across the SDLC.

Project Documentation and Communication

Prepare project documentation, including proposals, business cases, and reporting dashboards.

Design and maintain automated reporting and analytics to support objectives tracking.

Create presentation materials for leadership engagement.

Collaboration and Agile Practices

Work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver iterative and impactful solutions.

Engage with stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure technical alignment with business goals.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer, with proven expertise in automation and enterprise-grade applications.

Experience in banking or financial services (preferred but not mandatory).

Frontend : Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, TypeScript / JavaScript, and React (PWA applications).

Backend : Advanced coding skills in Java or Kotlin with Spring Boot.

Databases & Tools : Solid knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Kafka, Git versioning.

Architecture & Services : Strong experience with RESTful services, JPA for persistence, and microservices.

Proficient in agile methodologies, CI / CD pipelines, and SDLC best practices.
