Your Purpose

As Head of Treasury, you will own Bitso’s global treasury strategy, operations, and risk management. You will be responsible for safeguarding liquidity, optimizing working capital, managing funding strategies, and building scalable treasury infrastructure that supports both retail and institutional clients. This role involves interacting directly with banking, lenders, investors and capital markets counterparties as well as key functional leaders within Bitso to support Treasury initiatives and broader product launches. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role requiring deep expertise in treasury, capital markets, and crypto / fiat ecosystems.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Who You Are

Failure to meet any of the following required qualifications could result in an automatic rejection.

• 10+ years of experience in Treasury, Capital Markets, or related financial roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
• Proven track record managing a global treasury team, ideally within fintech, crypto, or financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of strategic treasury management, liquidity management, cash forecasting, FX, and risk management frameworks.
• Experience building scalable treasury systems and processes.
• Deep relationships with banks, custodians, and liquidity providers across regions.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks in Latin America and international markets.
• Experience leading the local Assets and Liabilities Committee.
• Passion for crypto, financial innovation, and building inclusive financial systems.
