About the role
The role is focused on maximizing product value by owning and prioritizing the backlog while working closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to align with the product vision and strategy. You’ll manage and refine backlog items, create clear sprint goals, and support a Scrum team in delivering solutions that address customer needs. Additionally, the role involves developing effective release plans, coordinating cross-team dependencies, and maintaining transparent communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful product outcomes.
Main responsibilities :
Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to shape the product backlog based on the product vision and strategy, ensuring it addresses business needs.
Managetheproduct backlog bydefining, communicating, andprioritizing backlog itemswith stakeholders andthe Scrum team, maintainingtransparencyand balance between new features, ongoingoperations, and bug fixes.
Developandmaintaineffective release plans, setting goals in coordinationwithProduct Managers and delivery teams, andmanagedependenciesacrossteams.
Continuously refine backlog itemswiththe Scrum teamand experts toensureclarityandreadiness for sprint planning.
Set clearpriorities, craft sprint goalswiththe Scrum team, andsupportthem in deliveringcommittedvaluewhileaddressinganyimpediments.
Engageactively in agileevents, coordinateresourcesacrosstheorganization, andmaintain communication with stakeholders aboutproductprogressandoutcomes.
Key Qualifications and Experiences :
Bachelor'sdegree in IT or a business discipline with 4+ yearsofexperience as a ProductOwner, Certified Scrum ProductOwner (CSPO) or similar preferred.
Demonstratesstrongdomainknowledgeand a successful track record in launching digital experiences in collaborationwith business andengineeringteams, includingexperiencewithwireframes, prototyping, andagiledevelopmentprinciples.
Experienced in leading virtual teamsandmanagingend-to-end delivery ofinnovative digital experiences, specificallywithinthe B2B space
Excellentorganizational, communication, andinterpersonal skills, alongwithprovencapabilities in negotiation, training, andpresenting; recognized as a changeagentskilled in influencingandinspiring stakeholders atmultiplelevelswithin a global organization.
Experience with digital privacyand compliance tools (OneTrust, ADA Compliance, GDPR / CCPA).
Understandingoftranslationintegrations, online marketing channelintegrations, and workflow andasset management.
