About the role :

As a Senior Director of Engineering, you will assume a critical leadership role, responsible for guiding multiple engineering teams and shaping the technical strategy for key areas of our business. You will bridge the gap between high-level vision and tactical execution, empowering your managers and their teams to deliver exceptional results. With your blend of deep technical expertise, strategic foresight, and proven leadership, you will drive complex, cross-functional engineering initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and excellence. Responsibilities :

Team Leadership : Lead, manage, and scale multiple high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and technical excellence across your entire department.

Project Management : Ensure that cross-team dependencies and strategic roadblocks are identified and resolved with urgency, maintaining momentum on large-scale initiatives.

Technical Strategy Development : Co-develop and execute a comprehensive technical strategy that aligns with the product vision and overall business goals, ensuring the long-term health and scalability of our systems.

Technical Workload Management : Manage and prioritize the technical workload across multiple teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation and effective development practices that meet strategic deadlines.

Proactive Problem-Solving : Anticipate and proactively address potential architectural and organizational roadblocks, empowering your managers and teams to solve problems independently while providing strategic guidance.

Technology Trends Monitoring : Stay current on the latest technologies and industry trends, evaluating and implementing solutions to enhance development processes, team performance, and overall organizational effectiveness.
