Role Overview : Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the B2C Marketing Assistant responsible for creating and executing the overarching marketing strategy for the firm’s B2C portfolio companies.
This position requires a dynamic and adaptable individual who can seamlessly execute marketing strategies while being innovative and forward thinking.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in English and Spanish, creative, innovative, and able to respond quickly to market demands.
Key Responsibilities : Strategic Leadership & Vision : Work closely with marketing team, Black Dragon leadership, B2C portfolio leaders, and any external stakeholders, to execute marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
Be a culture of collaboration, innovation, and creativity within the marketing team.
Event Management : Assist in the planning and execution of promotional events.
Work to increase community awareness for the respective marketing through creative and collaborative branding execution.
Brand Management & Social Media : Support the development and execution of B2C marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and participation.
Manage the content calendar and scheduling for all social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, etc.).
Create engaging, culturally relevant bilingual content (English & Spanish) for digital and social channels.
Assist in the planning and execution of paid social campaigns and media placement.
Monitor performance metrics and generate insights to optimize digital marketing efforts.
Collaborate with marketing team using tools such as Canva to produce visual assets.
Use social media management platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Later or Sprout Social to streamline publishing and reporting.
Stay current with social media trends, youth culture, and sports marketing best practices.
Public Relations execution : Work with Marketing manager on public relations efforts focusing on brand promotion and reputation management.
Proactively identify and address potential risks or opportunities related to brand reputation and marketing campaigns.
Qualifications Required : 3-5 years of experience in marketing in B2C environments.
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Good organizational and project management skills required.
Familiarity with the sports industry or youth sports programs is highly preferred.
Strong working experience with of social media platforms, tools, and audience engagement techniques.
Working experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express) and content scheduling platforms.
Exposure to paid social campaigns (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.) is a plus.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Self-starter with growth mindset ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
