About the Role
The Resolution Specialist is responsible for reviewing, preparing, and submitting supplements to insurance carriers on behalf of Bulldog Adjusters. This role focuses on addressing discrepancies between insurance company estimates and contractor / adjuster estimates when the differences do not require direct PA involvement. The Resolution Specialist ensures accurate scope alignment, compliance with industry standards, and strong advocacy for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Supplement Review & Preparation
- Review initial insurance estimates, photos, claim notes, and contractor feedback.
- Compare carrier estimates against internal estimates to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed supplement arguments, supported by justification photos, estimates, and documentation.
- Revise or request updates to estimates when errors or omissions are identified.
Submission & Follow-Up
Submit supplements directly to insurance carriers, ensuring professional communication and accuracy.Document all communication in ESPO / CRM and update claim statuses accordingly.Follow up within 48 hours of submission and escalate after 3 unanswered attempts.Escalate unresolved issues to supervisors, POD leaders, or management review.Repair-to-Replace & Line Item Differences
Identify whether supplements are due to repair-to-replace or line item differences.Use ITEL / NTS reports, repair tests, and state matching laws as leverage for roof / siding replacements.Ensure building code items, material specifications, and change orders are properly documented.Verify measurements, waste %, O&P, taxes, and other calculation discrepancies.Advocacy & Communication
Maintain tenacity when engaging with carriers—pushing for justifications and policy-based responses.Request clarifications on denials, ensuring carriers provide clear reasoning and policy references.Provide GC updates and secure approvals on revised scopes.Documentation & Compliance
Update ESPO with argument submissions, approvals, supplemental payments, and depreciation tracking.Tag leadership on important updates and coordinate with ADR specialists as needed.Ensure claim records are accurate, timely, and compliant with company processes.Training of new team membersRequirements
Qualifications
Required :
Prior experience in insurance claims, supplementing, or construction estimating.Strong knowledge of property insurance claims, including roofing, siding, and building code requirements.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in CRM systems (ESPO or similar) and digital claims management tools.Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.Preferred :
Experience working with Public Adjusters, contractors, or insurance carriers.Familiarity with ITEL / NTS reports, repair tests, and state-specific matching laws.Strong negotiation and advocacy skills with the ability to remain professional under pressure.Key Competencies
