Sales Director Food Ingredients Distribution m / f / d
- Must have a Degree in Food Technology (an MBA is a plus)
- Experience working for a distributor managing a team of Country Managers
- Or experience working for a producer managing Food Ingredients distributors
- Ability to develop new countries in Africa
- This role focuses on selling Food Ingredients B2B, not FMCG
Tasks
Ensure proper business development plans at the country and sales team level in line with global targetsInitiate and participate in the development of global policies, structures, and tools; enforce their local implementationOversee the cost and capacity structure of local offices, ensuring efficient and effective operationsMonitor sales and financial KPIs and implement corrective actions with Country ManagersShare best practices within your area, encourage cooperation, and utilize synergiesRequirements
You are a Food Technologist with an economic background such as an MBAYou have a passion for Food and Food IngredientsAs the Area Manager, you are responsible for the overall development of countries in AfricaYou will be the direct supervisor of the Country Managers and act as a link between HQ and local teamsWhile the main focus is on strategic topics, you may also be involved in daily operations if neededYou have experience with Food Ingredients DistributionMinimum 10 years of leadership experience, managing at least one country with a sizable teamYou are communicative, proactive, analytical, and supportiveStrong leadership and team skillsFluent in English; French and a local language are assetsWilling to travelApplications are accepted only via the link in the ad, in English#J-18808-Ljbffr
