The Finance Manager is responsible for leading and managing the financial operations of Noatum Maritime’s shipping business. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, cost control, compliance with national financial regulations, and alignment with corporate financial strategies.
The Finance Manager will support the Country Manager in strategic decision-making, drive financial performance, and ensure consistency with cluster-wide standards, while focusing exclusively on the national scope of operations.
Job Description
- Financial Strategy : Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with national business objectives and corporate guidelines.
- Financial Reporting : Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Performance Monitoring : Track and control financial performance indicators such as revenue, costs, and profitability.
- Budgeting & Forecasting : Lead the budgeting process and provide accurate financial forecasts to support operational planning.
- Compliance & Controls : Ensure compliance with national accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal reporting requirements.
- Treasury & Cash Flow : Oversee accounts payable, receivable, treasury, and cash flow management at country level.
- Financial Modelling : Develop financial models to support investment decisions and long-term planning.
- Reporting & Insights : Prepare dashboards and reports to communicate financial performance, risks, and recommendations to local leadership.
- Process Optimization : Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in financial operations.
- Audit : Coordinate external and internal audits.
- ERP & Systems : Support implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools, ensuring data integrity and process efficiency.
- Business Partnership : Act as a financial advisor to the Country Manager and business unit leaders.
- Risk Management : Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Market Intelligence : Monitor financial trends and benchmarks relevant to the national maritime sector.
- Cluster Coordination : Ensure local financial practices are aligned with cluster-wide standards and contribute to harmonization efforts.

REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Fluent in local language (spoken and written) is essential.Professional level of English – essential.Minimum 5–7 years of experience in financial management roles.Experience in maritime, shipping, logistics, or industrial sectors is highly valued.Experience in international audit firms or multinational environments is highly valued.Strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.Familiarity with national tax and accounting regulations.Proficiency in financial systems and tools.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
