The Role :

We are seeking a Director of Business Development to join our team. This role is crucial in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our presence in the payments and fintech sector.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to grow our merchant acquiring and payment processing services.
  • Identify and engage potential merchants, payment processors, and strategic partners to expand the company’s presence.
  • Negotiate and close partnership agreements with merchants, payment service providers, and fintech platforms.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales and product strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts with product development, compliance, and operational goals.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key partners and stakeholders to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and business meetings.

About You

You’re passionate about fintech and thrive in fast-paced environments. You bring a mix of deep expertise, collaborative spirit, and a drive to innovate.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Director or in a senior business development role within the payments, merchant acquiring, or fintech industry.
  • Strong understanding of POS solutions, e-commerce payments, and the intersection of fiat and crypto transactions.
  • Experience working in international payment environments.
  • What you’ll bring (Skills)

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Russian or English speakers preferred; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • The Details

  • Contractual Hours : Mon–Fri, 37.5 hours
  • Contract Type : Permanent / Fixed Term
  • Location : Buenos Aires offices (Hybrid model : minimum 2-3 days in office)
